Haven't felt very creative in a long time so I was determined to make my own Christmas cards this year. I was starting to feel like a hoarder with all the card stock, stamps, dies and embellishments I've bought over the last several years so pulled out a few things and here's what I came up with.

In case you're reading this Celeste it's just one more year until the big <strong>50!</strong> (just in case you've lost count!) I have my card all made, in the envelope, addressed but not in the mailbox so you'll be getting it soon. </span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"><br />We have so many birthdays in our family in January that I've been playing around making a few birthday cards. On both cards that I am sharing today I used the Party Hearty stamp set, green galore cardstock and ink, tempting turquoise cardstock and ink, and Rainbow Sherbet Designer paper from Stampin' Up. I also had some turquoise and green saddle stitched grosgrain ribbon that I purchased during one of my ribbon buying frenzies at Michaels that matched everything perfectly. </span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF747vYp9_IUo7ZLa3zk-V1HKSAdjGmA8qjUN6rtx1IeBzksiW-sHOniug4o-F_HBSjgxqEEIBeT3x6zl25Nw6pRSonamBYQbxJxPt1nd4YAD9o1hZHifPPjzSqtIMGuwH7hem0znxv1OS/s1600-h/prtyhrty2b.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5292652770432579634" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 250px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF747vYp9_IUo7ZLa3zk-V1HKSAdjGmA8qjUN6rtx1IeBzksiW-sHOniug4o-F_HBSjgxqEEIBeT3x6zl25Nw6pRSonamBYQbxJxPt1nd4YAD9o1hZHifPPjzSqtIMGuwH7hem0znxv1OS/s320/prtyhrty2b.jpg" border="0" /></span></a><br /></span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"><br /></span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">Happy Birthday wishes (some belated) to my sister-in-law Beth and neice Danielle who both celebrated birthdays on the 31st of December, my friend Holly's mother Helen (aka as Terry) and our neighbor's daughter Micky who both had birthdays on January 1, my grandson Griffin and great-neice Abigal who both had birthdays on January 5, my neice Erin whose birthday was yesterday, my sister Celeste and friend Lois who are celebrating today, my daughter Jennifer on the 20th, friend Ron Yex whose birthday is same day as mine - the 22nd and Holly's husband Howard and my Uncle Ron who are also celebrating birthdays this month. Here are two of the cards I made that I thought I would share.</span><br /></span><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4qlUzaSk51WOb61EMTzHpq3JeCcdakAiTL8euM9tlo-GxTYSGDCe-0j13lN2hfQYM8VeXazVB3kTva4HxRn_cluUHeOumLUuD_cDK5ilOB-H0bnsk3mot5om4nxeTJTBMF-nebcgSt6s0/s1600-h/pt1b2.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:12%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290395297282642546" style="WIDTH: 255px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4qlUzaSk51WOb61EMTzHpq3JeCcdakAiTL8euM9tlo-GxTYSGDCe-0j13lN2hfQYM8VeXazVB3kTva4HxRn_cluUHeOumLUuD_cDK5ilOB-H0bnsk3mot5om4nxeTJTBMF-nebcgSt6s0/s320/pt1b2.jpg" border="0" /></span></a></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">I used stamps from the PapertreyInk Anniversary Stamp set that I received last year. The name of the set is Simple Little Things and was a limited edition that customers who had ordered 12 stamp sets between February of 2007 and February of 2008 received as a customer appreciation gift. I made the scallops around the circle with my scalloped square punch from Stampin' Up. I cut 2 scalloped squares and then cut each of those squares into 4 quarters for a total of 8 pieces. I then started adhering them to the back of the circle and this is how it turned out. I thought it looked pretty nice. The cardstock that I used was the Kraft cardstock from PapertreyInk and Bravo Burgundy from Stampin' Up. Everything was stamped with Bravo Burgundy ink from Stampin' Up.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"></span></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4_eEYTyWduskcNzUdVw0fccOX7YICCJcTbIz6PUq1xn0Sw9UNBFG653QTImAwNYY6zmb0sAT-rg8wx9tbYakW1jGXGcEdcdhUnAZldkJ8og-0PILcEXflGYRyh5EQXATcN-vkiPTbN7Tn/s1600-h/celebrate1b.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290396641672745602" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 314px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4_eEYTyWduskcNzUdVw0fccOX7YICCJcTbIz6PUq1xn0Sw9UNBFG653QTImAwNYY6zmb0sAT-rg8wx9tbYakW1jGXGcEdcdhUnAZldkJ8og-0PILcEXflGYRyh5EQXATcN-vkiPTbN7Tn/s320/celebrate1b.jpg" border="0" /></span></a><span style="font-size:130%;"><br /></span><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">For this card I used some of the Dark Chocolate cardstock from PapertreyInk and designer paper from Cloud 9 Designs. I stamped images from the Priceless and BoHo Blooms Background stamp sets from Stampin' Up using Chocolate Chip ink from Stampin' Up. I wish the images would have been darker. I had even grabbed my newest Chocolate Chip stamp pad but it still didn't stamp very dark. Guess I'll have to get the reinkers out.</span><br /></div><br /><div></div>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-21267981447305158892008-11-15T19:22:00.000-08:002009-01-12T05:30:24.155-08:00Scrapping Weekend<span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">While the guys are away the girls will play......<br /><br /></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHOi1L054-ZGjqTA1_V7WJQXbu0UwcpizZarlvDGB3xuw9bt1-AWw-_xl7SQldrdEgr-4u1dJD38kqFW4TQIlKg3blPuDihG14se3_ELfVeBNx2pEPnZMxp5JvIS7QaDwvM9DznFqmg-tY/s1600-h/girls2.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269094346595411074" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 194px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHOi1L054-ZGjqTA1_V7WJQXbu0UwcpizZarlvDGB3xuw9bt1-AWw-_xl7SQldrdEgr-4u1dJD38kqFW4TQIlKg3blPuDihG14se3_ELfVeBNx2pEPnZMxp5JvIS7QaDwvM9DznFqmg-tY/s320/girls2.jpg" border="0" /></span></a><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"><br />Back row left to right - Stacie, Viki, Laura, Amber, Valerie<br />Front row left to right - Holly, Cindy and Erin<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhq2zAVvKa9GoZBi9CnDO_qkPbFZ-bUj8CAmyefXEqewQ9OJtUv6Q1bBwSSeHj0QKjolm-ULgAJ-HLvD4Wza2ch2Gv81qXZiqGQPtFMFWeUEb1QarfudksaZl132DcWxpdVYR809poWhXrN/s1600-h/valandkim2.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269094973995361506" style="WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhq2zAVvKa9GoZBi9CnDO_qkPbFZ-bUj8CAmyefXEqewQ9OJtUv6Q1bBwSSeHj0QKjolm-ULgAJ-HLvD4Wza2ch2Gv81qXZiqGQPtFMFWeUEb1QarfudksaZl132DcWxpdVYR809poWhXrN/s320/valandkim2.jpg" border="0" /></span></a><br /></span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">Valerie & her mom Kim from Indiana.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;font-size:120%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;font-size:120%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;font-size:120%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;font-size:120%;"></span>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-46101550805237365692008-09-27T07:36:00.000-07:002008-09-27T09:17:50.522-07:00Pop-up Gift Card Holder<span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">This is a pop-up gift card holder that we recently made. I thought the "eat, drink & be scary" stamp was perfect for a McDonald's gift card to give to my grandkids for a Halloween treat. This stamp is from the Stampin' Up stamp set "Eat, Drink & Be Scary" that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog which runs from October 1 thru January 18. I intended to make some candy bar holders but found my husband had eaten the Kit Kat bars so I changed the measurements and made crayon holders instead. </span><br /><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;font-size:7;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">The measurements for the crayon holder are as follows: Cardstock measures 2 1/2" x 10 3/4" and is scored at 2 1/4", 2 3/4", 6 1/2" and 7". The print paper measures 2 1/4" x 9" and you do not score it before adhering to cardstock. Also start adhering from short end (front flap).</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;font-size:120%;">If you want to make candy bar holders for Funsize Kit Kat candy bars or Hershey bars the cardstock measurement is 2 1/2" X 10", scored at 2 3/16", 2 11/16", 6 1/8" and 6 5/8". The print paper measures 2 1/4" x 9". </span><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGzMo-ge0VqJPRWfRJ9oa1Q3twL3slIoOKWnZwG6ngyp4i29MTDzbxI5lswUITM_7CZDi5amcE-ycviHxSS3vii8rajTaS7d3Mt9PkhnVo7Rmfqtv3eQ5CWpP1Dkx4fBHLk8ywIpTGvWq7/s1600-h/crayon1b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250388583544699506" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGzMo-ge0VqJPRWfRJ9oa1Q3twL3slIoOKWnZwG6ngyp4i29MTDzbxI5lswUITM_7CZDi5amcE-ycviHxSS3vii8rajTaS7d3Mt9PkhnVo7Rmfqtv3eQ5CWpP1Dkx4fBHLk8ywIpTGvWq7/s320/crayon1b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF-FITjq1XNzZb-MKVIvmWYwKPcqWt07q5hUwAm41JWh4nyDfNp0XUL0SXnAjDYVnr_F0AkJNPfak7AGHZ3AvdHap7LhcNOuZr5tg8XOFWl_DS8vLosY2616C778mo-W3asTZw-nYxfZ0e/s1600-h/crayon2b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250392504221997250" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF-FITjq1XNzZb-MKVIvmWYwKPcqWt07q5hUwAm41JWh4nyDfNp0XUL0SXnAjDYVnr_F0AkJNPfak7AGHZ3AvdHap7LhcNOuZr5tg8XOFWl_DS8vLosY2616C778mo-W3asTZw-nYxfZ0e/s320/crayon2b.jpg" border="0" /></a>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-76991590251708850672008-09-26T10:15:00.000-07:002008-09-26T10:27:48.652-07:00Bookmark<span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">We made this bookmark at our last workshop. </span><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-0TqA4sReL6AhyLrapb36MOjJ4aqgaQyWf3DYniD8EzY3FKQPgRBQvZ3dlqSlBmlQqvQb1F6yXqs6Z0TnhOVp0Qyv-B5AtWVjtlmjf-oOWjWReH4DDG6yRWQgz4Ud4ep9ShdV379l-boG/s1600-h/bookmark1b.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"></span></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhehvpHdeytiTitYefcrykyoC5bDeExFf8IMj1aOWN9CjaGfwGb8u5CT6b2GtucBxw3KCI_EfQ1GBpK13LwjcF97XHDojIXn2ZH5Eo6zvfjRxwwo0jnXVINAovy7jCwvjrxWVISyzp5afcA/s1600-h/bookmark2b.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:130%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250381844130945858" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhehvpHdeytiTitYefcrykyoC5bDeExFf8IMj1aOWN9CjaGfwGb8u5CT6b2GtucBxw3KCI_EfQ1GBpK13LwjcF97XHDojIXn2ZH5Eo6zvfjRxwwo0jnXVINAovy7jCwvjrxWVISyzp5afcA/s320/bookmark2b.jpg" border="0" /></span></a><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">It's a great way to use up those scrap pieces of cardstock. I adhered 2 sets magnets on inside, one set right at the edge of the open ends and the other about an inch from the fold.</span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"></span><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-0TqA4sReL6AhyLrapb36MOjJ4aqgaQyWf3DYniD8EzY3FKQPgRBQvZ3dlqSlBmlQqvQb1F6yXqs6Z0TnhOVp0Qyv-B5AtWVjtlmjf-oOWjWReH4DDG6yRWQgz4Ud4ep9ShdV379l-boG/s1600-h/bookmark1b.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250382077171535410" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-0TqA4sReL6AhyLrapb36MOjJ4aqgaQyWf3DYniD8EzY3FKQPgRBQvZ3dlqSlBmlQqvQb1F6yXqs6Z0TnhOVp0Qyv-B5AtWVjtlmjf-oOWjWReH4DDG6yRWQgz4Ud4ep9ShdV379l-boG/s320/bookmark1b.jpg" border="0" /></span></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhehvpHdeytiTitYefcrykyoC5bDeExFf8IMj1aOWN9CjaGfwGb8u5CT6b2GtucBxw3KCI_EfQ1GBpK13LwjcF97XHDojIXn2ZH5Eo6zvfjRxwwo0jnXVINAovy7jCwvjrxWVISyzp5afcA/s1600-h/bookmark2b.jpg"></a><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">These are great as you can bookmark the line you left off on.</span><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRMQ_AyZE1EBUuty0uhDUA0Xfjlh0r_8-gKVR7eO1SyByTJDHUssKIS1FCWfCt4jtuFcHTuI4YGX3WeMq2MMD6xwtu0PnFDlYIz0eMtHiqBbfsVX5rItqIwAjl7ktv8RXacV9OhXeukqE9/s1600-h/bookmark3b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250382205590212306" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRMQ_AyZE1EBUuty0uhDUA0Xfjlh0r_8-gKVR7eO1SyByTJDHUssKIS1FCWfCt4jtuFcHTuI4YGX3WeMq2MMD6xwtu0PnFDlYIz0eMtHiqBbfsVX5rItqIwAjl7ktv8RXacV9OhXeukqE9/s320/bookmark3b.jpg" border="0" /></a>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-80792718651926267472008-08-28T09:46:00.000-07:002008-08-28T16:29:32.964-07:00Peppermint Pattie<span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">I haven't posted anything for a little while so took some quick pictures this morning of the projects we made at our last workshop. </span><br /><br /></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLc6-Rxb7Desutq4eEsj5-QNtRWslB8vaKkm-2xYtehpe_C2M7_NNmDe0DEq3ERtJkGY_abhxyxQRd28jz3YxDqBCmtz9gw6vFUqJxe89j1E-fwh_opzj1If_p80krlRGJo6jibZHObtpv/s1600-h/sheep1a.jpg"><span style="font-size:120%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239612833681821378" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLc6-Rxb7Desutq4eEsj5-QNtRWslB8vaKkm-2xYtehpe_C2M7_NNmDe0DEq3ERtJkGY_abhxyxQRd28jz3YxDqBCmtz9gw6vFUqJxe89j1E-fwh_opzj1If_p80krlRGJo6jibZHObtpv/s320/sheep1a.jpg" border="0" /></span></a><span style="font-size:120%;"><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Got the idea for this sheep card and Peppermint Pattie from cards I've seen on various blogs but not sure who came up with the original ideas. After alot of trial and error this is what I came up with. I hadn't seen any instructions on how to make one so I documented the steps I took in making mine in my own set of instructions.<br /><br />I'm not sure if my album was made in the same way as others that I've seen but after writing my instructions this <a href="http://www.kodak.com/global/images/mul/corp/TrustedGuide/furryfriends.pdf" target="blank">link</a> was shared by a member of a stamping group I belong to. The directions vary a bit from mine but you may want to check it out. My album was made using 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" pieces of cardstock but it could be easily adapted to any size cardstock. <br /><br />If you'd like to receive a copy of the instructions I wrote for my version of this flip-up album I would be glad to share them with you if you would be willing to share instructions and pictures of a "wow" project with me.<br /><br /><a href="mailto:geralynanne@sbcglobal.net">Email me</a> with your name, email address, how you found my blog and include your blog address if you have one as I love visiting other people's blogs for inspiration.Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-68705140106501135042008-04-10T11:16:00.000-07:002008-07-12T07:33:18.947-07:00Always CardsThese are some cards I made using the Always stamp set from Stampin' Up. <div><div><div><div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8Yd9ZhXSubKyK0BYF2uUJ3la3dkxuZDRSeipbIhY7Fb3_31Q6cVNDVPQyBG2KyrFyMPdvlUQVJyLKq96BDk90m0PA1LNizdB_Gkw0zrRsSbMQwbpNjvoaPa0vVAFaoOI3zjW92X3HzUyT/s1600-h/always+card+3a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222133343013589522" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8Yd9ZhXSubKyK0BYF2uUJ3la3dkxuZDRSeipbIhY7Fb3_31Q6cVNDVPQyBG2KyrFyMPdvlUQVJyLKq96BDk90m0PA1LNizdB_Gkw0zrRsSbMQwbpNjvoaPa0vVAFaoOI3zjW92X3HzUyT/s320/always+card+3a.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOKgWkJQn_jUMakcHoe_maerIavSlpS18lbA2VsPVFOY_jMvo426q1aQKZnLOb6WsNW9GSMJo92QTCPdH3Z1DSX56Xgh3Wxb9ncEoHRTZV-33VXfbvjDaYg0Z68XXqsWejkCb2BMsO-zdd/s1600-h/always+card+7a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222133476652025538" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOKgWkJQn_jUMakcHoe_maerIavSlpS18lbA2VsPVFOY_jMvo426q1aQKZnLOb6WsNW9GSMJo92QTCPdH3Z1DSX56Xgh3Wxb9ncEoHRTZV-33VXfbvjDaYg0Z68XXqsWejkCb2BMsO-zdd/s320/always+card+7a.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwtxiPFZs3MU8VJKxmvh9PDSiLl7lW6lIbvsGBb7Z8UtjmP3DG4fEvzlmiI55EOvHOzH24Fmey3oVLt6YVxLUK-0vFj7wPVE7J5mOXfCLCPVLF4lARs5Z1zs_n6OftM-g4zI7EgOQdCuEQ/s1600-h/always+card+5a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222133642139294162" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwtxiPFZs3MU8VJKxmvh9PDSiLl7lW6lIbvsGBb7Z8UtjmP3DG4fEvzlmiI55EOvHOzH24Fmey3oVLt6YVxLUK-0vFj7wPVE7J5mOXfCLCPVLF4lARs5Z1zs_n6OftM-g4zI7EgOQdCuEQ/s320/always+card+5a.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJtBBoml3WDViD9SdsGD_BQBQwWs7Qcmx0Z0c5wZQD5zrYqkDRsCVn7Da_472kt5Pi18td6m5fKxhdP-pY8GrT9oc0K0zNW6v9pfx0ZoFJAY_WPwwj4AMJMKiG_eQnjZTcBcgE4dBTVSML/s1600-h/always+card+4a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222133791902974306" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJtBBoml3WDViD9SdsGD_BQBQwWs7Qcmx0Z0c5wZQD5zrYqkDRsCVn7Da_472kt5Pi18td6m5fKxhdP-pY8GrT9oc0K0zNW6v9pfx0ZoFJAY_WPwwj4AMJMKiG_eQnjZTcBcgE4dBTVSML/s320/always+card+4a.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3HB334Ig8BZJqybJUJ4UkJy6FZ4yiiLn93KIOa27O5ZHAWckk103dnCNteMrSVVhPnfB3ZJsFv7jFXBF2xqYtUvjgVnSLawiHgJsvngAINUUKUrbQSK3_-epP9aT-Jm01nPsBu5ONGOwq/s1600-h/always+card+2a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222133928905408834" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3HB334Ig8BZJqybJUJ4UkJy6FZ4yiiLn93KIOa27O5ZHAWckk103dnCNteMrSVVhPnfB3ZJsFv7jFXBF2xqYtUvjgVnSLawiHgJsvngAINUUKUrbQSK3_-epP9aT-Jm01nPsBu5ONGOwq/s320/always+card+2a.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJtBBoml3WDViD9SdsGD_BQBQwWs7Qcmx0Z0c5wZQD5zrYqkDRsCVn7Da_472kt5Pi18td6m5fKxhdP-pY8GrT9oc0K0zNW6v9pfx0ZoFJAY_WPwwj4AMJMKiG_eQnjZTcBcgE4dBTVSML/s1600-h/always+card+4a.jpg"></a></div><br /><div></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj65_V0Eqq-0x_mQNWc6gKyuK3yOcHKy_Jk0WSM_oJXxrO6TJZ3LTAyr6dr9YXLDBLdrW8aBMUHWnzlVIWoVFVoisAfuE_eRGEfcMjy1IWRiu23X0PTnosysH2XRHnCrgwDUuOgLcsXF-yt/s1600-h/always+card+6a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222134594030205570" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj65_V0Eqq-0x_mQNWc6gKyuK3yOcHKy_Jk0WSM_oJXxrO6TJZ3LTAyr6dr9YXLDBLdrW8aBMUHWnzlVIWoVFVoisAfuE_eRGEfcMjy1IWRiu23X0PTnosysH2XRHnCrgwDUuOgLcsXF-yt/s320/always+card+6a.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><div></div></div></div></div>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-42782092185327331502008-03-26T03:50:00.000-07:002008-07-12T07:34:49.977-07:00Another Always CardMade another card using the Always stamp set from Stampin' Up. The first time I saw this stamp set in the current catalog I wasn't too sure I liked it but then I saw a few cards made with it that changed my mind.<br /><br />For this card I stamped the images with versamark ink and embossed them with black embossing powder. I used designer paper from the Le Jardin collection from Stampin' Up. I mounted everything on Basic Black cardstock and then mounted to River Rock cardstock. Didn't quite punch my holes for the black eyelets perfectly but still thought the card turned out well. Very easy card to make but impressive look I thought.<br /><br /></span>Hope you enjoy!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQimsYZ5S7sFX6K1jAkYfU9pneCDbu-c_5IZFiWDCV9IVXiWGOhJ2Z2fqP6NqCVZd74vij_muWggnhyphenhyphenE2GOFXfYUaf45ktBRmmc6jXU6PBZo-Ds7XtYwu9QrbprseB54JzOEpc4vWuD-bm/s1600-h/always1a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5181650392355104994" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQimsYZ5S7sFX6K1jAkYfU9pneCDbu-c_5IZFiWDCV9IVXiWGOhJ2Z2fqP6NqCVZd74vij_muWggnhyphenhyphenE2GOFXfYUaf45ktBRmmc6jXU6PBZo-Ds7XtYwu9QrbprseB54JzOEpc4vWuD-bm/s320/always1a.jpg" border="0" /></a>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-83223390172962425152008-03-12T05:06:00.000-07:002008-07-12T07:39:05.075-07:00A Little Birdie Told Me..........<span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Finally took a picture of the one other card we made at our March workshop. I just love this Little Birdie Told Me stamp set from Stampin' Up. And those ribbon slides from Stampin' Up's new hodgepodge hardware kit is so cool. I got to thinking that the Copic markers which are alcohol based might work well to add color to the ribbon slide so I gave it a try and it worked fantastically! Hope you enjoy the card.</span><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzrCtMOmvcHSFhhpGPIH2kMAcmKfSJaFcs1SxnkgP-bvZ36-19Q5YWV01TBDII9eHFB_0I1Yw4zJmDbFLXt8r_43RK4rpNPnP8IT3KbhFRZ4e4HDqDAXk-8UoaC0X7_b8UVCE0NJBUV1g_/s1600-h/littlebirdie2a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5176826105209629442" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzrCtMOmvcHSFhhpGPIH2kMAcmKfSJaFcs1SxnkgP-bvZ36-19Q5YWV01TBDII9eHFB_0I1Yw4zJmDbFLXt8r_43RK4rpNPnP8IT3KbhFRZ4e4HDqDAXk-8UoaC0X7_b8UVCE0NJBUV1g_/s320/littlebirdie2a.jpg" border="0" /></a></span>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-42537901091253304512008-03-12T04:56:00.000-07:002008-07-12T07:46:14.587-07:00Candyce's Recipes<span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">At our last workshop Candyce whipped up some yummy food that everyone really enjoyed. I like the Color Blocking technique on this card. It's a simple technique that allows me to use up some of those cardstock odds and ends I've been hanging onto and makes a fairly attractive card. I got the card layout idea from Julee Tilman's blog <a href="http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/search/label/Mojo%20Monday?max-results=20"> "Poetic Artistry"</a>. Julee has a link to a <a href="http://www.vervevisual.com/images/MojoSketchbook.pdf">pdf file</a> containing a sketchbook of some really neat card layouts. </span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">I will be posting projects from my March workshop as soon as I get the pics taken.</span><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE1FZu8bDkrmeXpMa6dCyzJCy79EkBh_O3SRd_6g_052MlsJsVvZHanM25A6BbqTMSM_1mfRAW2JXk8UTaliyjc4daHmxEi0d0EjMSsdgJqFGeyLhXeX6o7Ta9jBdYxvqQRMIxPzkC2l40/s1600-h/flower1a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5175938575987714738" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE1FZu8bDkrmeXpMa6dCyzJCy79EkBh_O3SRd_6g_052MlsJsVvZHanM25A6BbqTMSM_1mfRAW2JXk8UTaliyjc4daHmxEi0d0EjMSsdgJqFGeyLhXeX6o7Ta9jBdYxvqQRMIxPzkC2l40/s320/flower1a.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE1FZu8bDkrmeXpMa6dCyzJCy79EkBh_O3SRd_6g_052MlsJsVvZHanM25A6BbqTMSM_1mfRAW2JXk8UTaliyjc4daHmxEi0d0EjMSsdgJqFGeyLhXeX6o7Ta9jBdYxvqQRMIxPzkC2l40/s1600-h/flower1a.jpg"></a>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-2102128066869548382008-02-23T13:07:00.001-08:002008-02-23T13:19:38.328-08:00Time Well Spent<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaWhyPRrPumdN_I6ojSC2-uyt1aNazxng2nqMQvPnnbqJ1iTUCKebHILdIJEBVo-gP6wiFmSSM0yXsOC9wDmtKx-p4ovOb2FhobSUSYfNOPiGtfAbHK4JTGMkOSSLxL-gyPM0D3B8s8kHq/s1600-h/timewellspent1b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170286914863742210" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaWhyPRrPumdN_I6ojSC2-uyt1aNazxng2nqMQvPnnbqJ1iTUCKebHILdIJEBVo-gP6wiFmSSM0yXsOC9wDmtKx-p4ovOb2FhobSUSYfNOPiGtfAbHK4JTGMkOSSLxL-gyPM0D3B8s8kHq/s320/timewellspent1b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">Finally took out the Time Well Spent stamp set that Stampin' Up sent as a gift to all demonstrators in December. Let me paint a picture for you -</span><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuer8Uch9_r-jY0yrhbXeZP2OL0wdE_HqXJCFot6Y06lampGewwChP5pFrLGFgJESkWzEMuRujyQyk6g4eqKvLHi0M1vAMZWVwRjie2I960wwcvwLWcRJegD1__3m4lpbckz-m6Gz15s0S/s1600-h/braden22308a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170284118840032466" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuer8Uch9_r-jY0yrhbXeZP2OL0wdE_HqXJCFot6Y06lampGewwChP5pFrLGFgJESkWzEMuRujyQyk6g4eqKvLHi0M1vAMZWVwRjie2I960wwcvwLWcRJegD1__3m4lpbckz-m6Gz15s0S/s320/braden22308a.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">You got it - I'm babysitting - for my 7 month old nephew. He's a such a cutie but boy I can sure tell I'm not as young as I used to me. For such a little fellow he's quite a bit of work. He's not too sure about his Uncle John and everytime I walk out of the room he starts crying like everything. If I walk back in he's fine. So he's sitting in his highchair watching Aunt G on the computer. In addition to eating, sleeping, crying, and wetting his diaper he loves to throw all his toys down and watch me pick them up. He's learning to make all kinds of noises - he's such a ham - he loves attention. I think his grandma has him spoiled. We took him out for breakfast this morning and he was so good.</span><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdlYR8nQD_82YvIjNs4pDwj2-eXGlGXfFpF-JQ-Y-BAzvnXApP2Ng6s1HLmVR6joWo-RiYbLOIeKPB8pl1uGoB8p-V9yGfN5FXjeIr9J-jrYpd8vnW9FjqA7A8ly25tGbk2kLx6dF6lLFG/s1600-h/braden22308b.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170284234804149474" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdlYR8nQD_82YvIjNs4pDwj2-eXGlGXfFpF-JQ-Y-BAzvnXApP2Ng6s1HLmVR6joWo-RiYbLOIeKPB8pl1uGoB8p-V9yGfN5FXjeIr9J-jrYpd8vnW9FjqA7A8ly25tGbk2kLx6dF6lLFG/s320/braden22308b.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;font-size:120%;"></span>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-33241292995011673892008-02-23T12:12:00.000-08:002008-02-23T12:40:30.828-08:00Ribbon Storage<span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:120%;">I knew there was a reason I just couldn't throw away those nice, heavy bags that my sheets, curtains and bath & body products came in. On one of the stamping groups I belong to Ellen Kemper shared one of the neatest ideas for organizing ribbon using these bags. Here is Ellen's post to the group:</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:120%;"><em><span style="color:#000066;">I have been struggling with ribbon storage - and trying various methods to corral my ever growing stash - I want it organized and I want to be able to take it with me to crops/workshops etc<br /><br />My upline bought a special gadget - a clear purse with holes in it to pull the ribbon through - great idea but $$$ - so I went home, dug out a heavy duty plastic bag that some sheets or curtains or something like that came it, punched holes all over it with my crop-a-dile, piled my ribbon it it, pulled just a couple of inches out through the holes, snapped it closed and so far - one week later it is working great - no tangles in the ribbon - super portable and all in one place.<br /><br />So if you need new curtains- save the bag. Or if you need ribbon storage - go treat yourself to some new curtains!</span></em> </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;">I read Ellen's post in the early morning hours when I couldn't sleep and decided to give it a try. I'm not finished with mine but here's how it looks so far. This is such a cool idea - thanks for sharing Ellen. This project also gave me the opportunity to use my new Big Bite I just got about a week ago.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:120%;"></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4GKhUMSnWZKfkfw_tvVLUFN7swAdkO4v_tzMWGKCVEwZLLBP_6nbmj31EOYvQhKiGDTv9xmIMHawB_lENPW_eS8yYqJI4FgnSrc64l4E7KKq2G8y592mE4SsA1hgzXAJ_mHhuE4fzGjBo/s1600-h/ribbonstorage.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170276946244648098" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 381px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 277px" height="310" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4GKhUMSnWZKfkfw_tvVLUFN7swAdkO4v_tzMWGKCVEwZLLBP_6nbmj31EOYvQhKiGDTv9xmIMHawB_lENPW_eS8yYqJI4FgnSrc64l4E7KKq2G8y592mE4SsA1hgzXAJ_mHhuE4fzGjBo/s320/ribbonstorage.jpg" width="428" border="0" /></a>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-62292782340691783862008-02-18T04:33:00.000-08:002008-02-18T05:07:02.308-08:00Fun & Fast Notes<span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">I've been playing with my Copic markers working on perfecting my coloring skills but still have a very long way to go. This cute little hedgehog is from a new stamp set I just got, Fun & Fast Notes from Stampin' Up. The flowers were from the Family Access<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi35hRhI1Cxb7qeE_5blpRyNsJ-kwp9sxEnyZTt8v63mhBc4GZU4td9JeHGCsoPNLg8ptJb7iYVCSWAxt9MToFILRTIocmLJlGHgEJbVc2rhIGVCF9u8h8AFmFQWDmJ5X6syZt6FNUGmj8V/s1600-h/hedgehog3a.jpg"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span></a>ories Stampin' Up stamp set. I added some teenie tiny dot sparklers from Stampendous to the centers of the flowers for an added touch. The polka dot cardstock is from the DCWV Nana's Kids collection. I bought one of the 4.5 x 6.5 packs which is perfect for making cards. The solid color cardstocks used on the cards are from Stampin' Up with the exception of the white which is from Papertrey Ink. I used the slit punch from Stampin' Up to make the scallops.<BR></span> </span><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJLJJTSGjGtrNg1GvFELxyDZ4GxpDII9wnXk_FpsonuoipzrIccU-qs2OsEAvwshpx8zu5NuianAQnUs69dNFBI3kPHx_bfyjNq1xfs46P8yUp2e9Ad3N6n_OQjHJ383vjcSamgRKMeyrX/s1600-h/hedgehog3a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5168302927735798930" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJLJJTSGjGtrNg1GvFELxyDZ4GxpDII9wnXk_FpsonuoipzrIccU-qs2OsEAvwshpx8zu5NuianAQnUs69dNFBI3kPHx_bfyjNq1xfs46P8yUp2e9Ad3N6n_OQjHJ383vjcSamgRKMeyrX/s320/hedgehog3a.jpg" border="0" /></a></span><br /><br /><p><span style="font-size:120%;"></span></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><br /><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p></p><p><br /></p><p><span style="font-size:120%;"></span></p><p><span style="font-size:120;"></span></p><p><span style="font-size:120%;"></p></span><span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span></span><br /></span><span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span></span><br /><span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span></span><br /><span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span></span><br /><span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">The purple card will go to my Mom whose birthday is next week and the other will go to my mother-in-law just to let her know she's in our thoughts.</span><br /><br /><br /><br /></span><span style="font-size:120%;"></span></span><span style="font-size:120;"></span>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429406984427914365.post-65878654992791340252008-02-11T17:13:00.001-08:002008-02-12T03:30:21.126-08:00Bugawumps<span style="font-size:120%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">This is a cute little pullout card I made for my father-in-law. I try to send him a handmade greeting card every 2 or 3 days to help brighten his day. I finally used some of the Bugawumps stamp I bought at a stamping convention I attended a couple of years ago. I thought this line of stamps were so cute. I still struggle with my coloring skills but if persistence pays off I should one day get the hang of it.</span><br /></span><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDN-9Cd_hcdZqUZ9khyphenhyphenO2l_qB9CWxUZZyXemhoIDhPSfQsRLXIQyDcmPbFvHVxMTQunTD2iLi9ZIsNBRnUxyn50BrQVYYvFnwHdsbL-6dPRyAALWItB0OPHGmlJDH61a-fb7We6QUQDvdP/s1600-h/bugawumps1a.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5165897853424221234" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDN-9Cd_hcdZqUZ9khyphenhyphenO2l_qB9CWxUZZyXemhoIDhPSfQsRLXIQyDcmPbFvHVxMTQunTD2iLi9ZIsNBRnUxyn50BrQVYYvFnwHdsbL-6dPRyAALWItB0OPHGmlJDH61a-fb7We6QUQDvdP/s320/bugawumps1a.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><p></p><br /><p></p><br /><p></p><br /><p></p><br /><p><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1BtB3gYYY0aKDMgxEtxTE4efhvQBvz947xJ5xAxRs1qtvLrZD51GSRafG5gL-TRJclH4vRUb9U9l84OEvcInEYELICaisRji0RdCuH19ud3McTXqz6jk01ZakxhNg8TYftkF9g0k6T23u/s1600-h/bugawumps2a.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1BtB3gYYY0aKDMgxEtxTE4efhvQBvz947xJ5xAxRs1qtvLrZD51GSRafG5gL-TRJclH4vRUb9U9l84OEvcInEYELICaisRji0RdCuH19ud3McTXqz6jk01ZakxhNg8TYftkF9g0k6T23u/s320/bugawumps2a.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5166053112197004354" /></a>Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00583449318316039644noreply@blogger.com0
