Pop-up Gift Card Holder

This is a pop-up gift card holder that we recently made. I thought the "eat, drink & be scary" stamp was perfect for a McDonald's gift card to give to my grandkids for a Halloween treat. This stamp is from the Stampin' Up stamp set "Eat, Drink & Be Scary" that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog which runs from October 1 thru January 18. It's a really cute stamp set!

Crayon Holder

Here's another project from our last workshop. I intended to make some candy bar holders but found my husband had eaten the Kit Kat bars so I changed the measurements and made crayon holders instead.

The measurements for the crayon holder are as follows: Cardstock measures 2 1/2" x 10 3/4" and is scored at 2 1/4", 2 3/4", 6 1/2" and 7". The print paper measures 2 1/4" x 9" and you do not score it before adhering to cardstock. Also start adhering from short end (front flap).

If you want to make candy bar holders for Funsize Kit Kat candy bars or Hershey bars the cardstock measurement is 2 1/2" X 10", scored at 2 3/16", 2 11/16", 6 1/8" and 6 5/8". The print paper measures 2 1/4" x 9".

Bookmark

We made this bookmark at our last workshop.

It's a great way to use up those scrap pieces of cardstock. The measurements are as follows: chocolate chip cardstock 1 1/2" x 9 1/2", scored at 4 3/4" and 2 pieces of patterned paper is cut 1 1/4" x 4 1/2". After making several bookmarks I found that they stayed in place best when I put scalloped pieces on front and back on open ends. I adhered 2 sets magnets on inside, one set right at the edge of the open ends and the other about an inch from the fold.

These are great as you can bookmark the line you left off on.
