Worked on a few projects today including one of my Christmas cards. I just love this Santa. I stamped him in Bravo Burgundy on Kraft cardstock which I then mounted on Bravo Burgundy Cardstock. I stamped the background piece of Bravo Burgundy using both the Print Pattern and Weathered Background stamps from Stampin' Up. I sponged the edges of the Kraft Cardstock with Walnut Ink to give it a vintage or antique look. The scan of this card doesn't do it justice - the actual card is much prettier I think.
I bought a new HP 3210 printer that I've been playing with. It's too cool....you can scan negatives and then print the photos. The quality of the photos is very, very close to the prints I had developed at Walgreens. This is one of the best photo printers I've used. There are so many features to this printer that it will take me a little while to get them all figured out but so far I'm really liking it.

Sharing Pictures
Finally some of my film developed so I thought I'd share some pictures.
This was taken at my grandson Griffin's Kindergarten graduation in May. The school Griffin attends held a really nice graduation ceremony for the kids complete with cap and gown.
I know I'm partial but I thought Griffin looked so handsome here - can't believe he's finished Kindergarten already! He's growing up so fast!
Thought this was a really good picture of Jennifer and Emma. It was also taken at Griffin's Kindergarten graduation. I can't believe how much they resemble one another - never realized it until I saw this picture.
Halloween 2006 at Grandma Imogene's house - Emma in front, Griffin on the left behind Emma and my nephew Koltyn standing in front of Grandma Imogene. Griffin and Emma dressed up as Beauty and the Beast.

This is my first attempt at creating my own blog. I will be sharing thoughts, creative ideas and sample projects once I figure out how all this works.
